Last week, representatives from Maine Power Express, LLC attended the E2Tech Conference in Hallowell, Maine. The conference focused on the NESCOE initiative to 1) increase natural gas pipeline capacity into New England (and therefore Maine) to lower the cost of electricity and 2) import 1200-3600MW of "low and/or no carbon emissions resources" through a new transmission line or lines to help meet RPS and RGGI objectives.

A fairly balanced review of the arguments presented at the conference is available here.
